From 23 to 26 June 2026, the Avond4daagse will be held, the national walking event for primary school kids. The country’s largest walking event, organized locally. Four days of walking and fun with your friends (and parents, grandparents, …)

When and where?

  • The Avond4daagse 2026 in our city will be held from 23 to 26 June. 
  • Start and finish are at Stadion de Berg (Tuesday and Friday) and SKV (Wednesday and Thursday).
  • We start each day at 6PM sharp.

More information

  • Rotary Wageningen organizes the Avond4daagse in Wageningen from 23 to 26 June 2026.
  • The event is for all kids at primary school.
  • Kids under 9 must be accompanied by an adult (max. 4 kids per adult companion).
  • Every day has a 4km and an 8km route.
  • The 4km routes are accessible by wheelchair.
  • Start and finish are at Stadion de Berg (Tuesday and Friday) and SKV (Wednesday and Thursday).
  • The locations open at 5:30PM, start is at 6PM.
    Friday is the grand finale where all participants receive a medal.
  • Registration fee is €5 per participant, including the medal.

  • Supervisors register for free (and will not receive a medal).
